What is Manual Therapy in Speech Pathology?
Manual therapy is a specialised, hands-on technique used by trained speech pathologists to release tension in the muscles of the throat, neck, jaw, and larynx. It is an effective, non-invasive treatment for people with voice and swallowing disorders caused or worsened by muscle strain and tightness. Our clinic integrates manual therapy into a holistic treatment plan designed to reduce pain, improve function, and support long-term recovery.

Whether you’re dealing with muscle tension dysphonia, muscle tension dysphagia, odynophagia, or chronic throat pain, we provide targeted, hands-on therapy to ease symptoms and restore function.
